Senior Software Engineer ‑ CI/CD
Accountabilities: The Senior Software Engineer - CI/CD will lead the design, development, and long-term evolution of enterprise CI/CD platforms and developer tooling. This role requires strong ownership of infrastructure reliability, automation, and delivery systems while partnering with engineering teams to create efficient and scalable development experiences.
Design, build, and operate self-hosted GitHub Actions runner infrastructure, including autoscaling, reliability improvements, and lifecycle management.
Own GitOps delivery architecture using tools such as ArgoCD, including deployment workflows, cluster connectivity, ApplicationSets, and production reliability practices.
Maintain and improve shared Kubernetes platform components, Helm charts, and reusable deployment patterns to support engineering teams.
Manage and evolve Jenkins environments, including shared libraries, controllers, agents, plugins, integrations, and platform upgrades.
Develop reusable CI/CD workflows, automation templates, and self-service developer tooling while supporting platform modernization initiatives.
Lead complex platform projects from architecture and implementation through operational ownership and continuous improvement.
Improve pipeline reliability through monitoring, observability, incident response, performance optimization, and proactive issue prevention.
Implement and maintain dashboards, alerts, tracing, and operational metrics using observability platforms.
Support production operations, including on-call responsibilities, incident management, secrets rotation, and vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams to translate delivery needs into scalable platform solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a senior software engineer with deep experience in CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and developer productivity tooling. You should have strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for building reliable systems that enable engineering teams to move efficiently.
Strong professional experience designing, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD platforms and automation systems.
Deep expertise with Jenkins administration, Groovy shared libraries, Docker-based agents, GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, and pipeline optimization.
Strong Kubernetes administration experience, including cluster operations, networking, optimization, and internal architecture concepts.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS.
Experience with GitOps delivery practices, including ArgoCD, ApplicationSets, synchronization strategies, Helm chart development, and event-driven deployment patterns.
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform for cloud resources and CI/CD infrastructure.
Experience implementing observability solutions, including metrics, dashboards, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
Experience supporting production environments through incident response processes and on-call rotations.
Knowledge of container image management, registries, security scanning, and lifecycle management practices.
Ability to develop production-quality code using languages such as Go, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with AI-assisted developer tooling, LLM-based applications, AI infrastructure, or AI-enabled engineering workflows is an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
