Accountabilities: The Senior Marketing Decision Scientist II will lead advanced analytics initiatives that guide marketing investment decisions, improve measurement capabilities, and support growth strategies. This role combines statistical modeling, experimentation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver actionable insights for business leaders.

Own the end-to-end marketing measurement strategy across paid search, paid social, display, affiliates, connected TV, and lifecycle marketing channels.

Develop and enhance measurement frameworks combining marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution (MTA), and incrementality testing.

Design, launch, and analyze experiments including A/B tests, geographic experiments, holdouts, and causal inference studies.

Build predictive models related to customer lifetime value, churn, audience response, propensity, and marketing budget allocation.

Partner with data engineering teams to productionize analytical solutions, automate pipelines, and maintain data quality.

Create executive-ready dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical narratives using platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode.

Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations that influence marketing strategy and investment decisions.

Collaborate with Marketing, Strategic Finance, Product, and Growth teams on forecasting, scenario planning, and business planning initiatives.

Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive-level audiences.

Establish analytical best practices through documentation, peer reviews, mentoring, and process improvements.

Manage multiple high-priority projects while maintaining strong analytical rigor and execution quality.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in marketing analytics, data science, and experimentation within technology, e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer-focused businesses. This role requires strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex insights to business stakeholders.

6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, growth analytics, or related fields.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience using Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling.

Proven experience designing and analyzing marketing experiments, including A/B testing, geographic tests, holdouts, and causal inference approaches.

Experience implementing marketing measurement strategies such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), or structured incrementality testing.

Experience building business-facing dashboards and self-service analytical tools using Looker, Tableau, Mode, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.

Experience using version control tools such as Git.

Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred.

Experience building and operationalizing Marketing Mix Models, including Bayesian approaches, is a plus.

Familiarity with privacy-focused measurement solutions, clean rooms, conversion modeling, or advertising platform APIs is preferred.

Experience with analytics engineering tools such as dbt or Airflow is beneficial.

Background in lifecycle marketing analytics, LTV forecasting, uplift modeling, or audience optimization is a plus.

Experience mentoring peers and improving analytical standards through documentation and code reviews is preferred.
