Senior Kony Engineer

Accountabilities: As a Senior Kony Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance enterprise mobile banking applications while ensuring high-quality technical delivery. You will analyze requirements, create effective solutions, and contribute to the evolution of digital banking platforms through modern architecture and engineering practices.

Analyze and validate design documents to understand application requirements and expected behaviors.

Translate business and technical specifications into well-structured application modules.

Design and implement solutions using Temenos Quantum (Kony) technologies and related frameworks.

Develop and maintain mobile applications using Kony SDK, Kony Visualizer, and Kony Fabric services.

Contribute to micro-app architecture initiatives aimed at improving application scalability and user experience.

Work on digital banking functionalities such as account services, transfers, payments, and other customer-facing features.

Identify potential technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performing applications.

Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and development standards.

Support continuous improvement of application architecture and engineering processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced mobile application engineer with strong expertise in Kony/Temenos Quantum technologies and enterprise digital solutions. You should have extensive experience building complex mobile applications, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

10+ years of experience working on Temenos Quantum (Kony) mobile application projects.

Deep expertise in Kony SDK, Kony Visualizer v9.x.x, and Kony Fabric v2024.x.x.

Strong knowledge of Kony Fabric services, including Identity Services, Integration Services, Object Services, and Engagement Services.

Experience designing and implementing micro-app architectures.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ECMAScript 6.

Experience using code quality tools such as ESLint and Jasmine.

Knowledge of native mobile development technologies, including Android (Java) and iOS (Objective-C).

Experience with Git and Microsoft Azure DevOps.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to understand complex requirements and independently deliver technical solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
