AI Software Engineer

Accountabilities: The AI Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining reliable software solutions while integrating modern AI capabilities into business applications. The role requires ownership of technical decisions, strong execution skills, and the ability to transform ideas into scalable products.

Design scalable software architectures for internal and customer-facing applications.

Develop modern web applications across backend and frontend environments.

Build secure APIs, integrations, services, and database-driven systems.

Create reusable software components, frameworks, and development workflows.

Optimize applications for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Use AI tools to accelerate software design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and reviews.

Build AI-powered applications using large language models, AI APIs, intelligent workflows, and automation agents.

Develop solutions involving retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, and document processing.

Integrate AI platforms and services while evaluating accuracy, reliability, security, latency, and cost.

Implement AI governance practices, including guardrails, privacy controls, and human oversight processes.

Deploy and maintain applications using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.

Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve reliability.

Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance when needed.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that support business goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong software development experience with curiosity and practical knowledge of AI-driven engineering practices. You should be comfortable managing projects independently, communicating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality solutions in a remote environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.

Proven experience designing and building complete web applications.

Strong backend development skills with practical frontend development capability.

Experience building REST APIs, integrations, and database-driven applications.

Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, testing, debugging, and secure development practices.

Experience working with relational databases, source control systems, and modern development workflows.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to independently manage priorities, technical decisions, and end-to-end delivery.

Experience with SaaS products, internal platforms, workflow automation, or business systems is preferred.

Familiarity with AI assistants, intelligent search, document processing, automation agents, or AI application development is a plus.

Experience integrating third-party APIs, CRM platforms, data systems, OAuth, JWT, SSO, or role-based access control is beneficial.

Portfolio, GitHub repository, or examples of software and AI-related projects are advantageous.

Willingness to complete a live technical assessment during the interview process.

Availability to work with the Zoom camera ON during the full 8-hour shift.

Willingness to complete a background check.

Windows 11 or macOS 13+ operating system.

Minimum 256GB storage capacity.

Minimum 8–16GB RAM.

Dual-core CPU or higher.

HD webcam (720p minimum).

Noise-cancelling headset preferred.

Minimum 50 Mbps internet connection.
