Job Summary
Join Compose Coffee SG as a part-time barista/service crew to prepare beverages, serve customers, and maintain a clean, efficient café environment while supporting team operations during peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee and other beverages consistently to company standards to ensure quality customer experience
- Serve customers with friendly and efficient service to promote customer satisfaction
- Take customer orders accurately and process cash and card payments using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and stock levels at the counter, seating area, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards
- Follow food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment
- Assist with opening and closing duties to support smooth daily operations
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain service efficiency
- Handle delivery platform orders as required to meet customer demand
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior café or food & beverage experience to contribute to faster onboarding and service quality
- Willingness to complete Food Safety Course Level 1 to enhance food handling knowledge
- Good spoken English to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work on a shift roster including weekends and public holidays to meet operational needs
- Friendly, reliable team player with a customer-first attitude to foster a positive work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods to maintain service standards
- Knowledge of other languages is an advantage for enhanced customer interaction
