CNC Programmer
Job Description · Write, edit, and optimize machine control code (such as G-code) using CAD/CAM software to define cutting paths, speeds, and feed rates. · Interpret engineering drawings, 3Dmodels, and geometric dimensions to determine the proper sequence of operations. · Run computer simulations or trial runs to verify that programs function correctly without errors. · Diagnose and debug glitches during production runs, adjusting parameters to fix dimensional non-conformances. · Design simple tools and fixture to assist the machining process. · Monitor and improve production cycle time and cost. · Maintain the storage and archiving of all programs. · Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure they meet specifications · Guide machine operators and coordinate with engineering teams to improve production efficiency. · Great teamwork and collaboration to improve productivity and products quality. · Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- NTC/Nitec, High school Diploma or technical certification preferably in Manufacturing/ Mechanical/Engineering discipline or equivalent, or prior hands-on experience as a CNC machinist, operator, or programmer.
· Preferably 1-3years of relevant experience in the metal machining or oil and gas industries
- Strong command of CAD/CAM software(such as Mastercam) and machine controllers.
· Deep understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and raw materials · Be proactive and with high ownership towards these daily responsibilities /works · Good working attitude and able to communicate with other department · Ability to multitask to handle other challenging work demands and tight schedules
