Are you an experienced crane operator with a polyp grab looking for a permanent job in Moerdijk? In this full-time position with an international company in metal recycling, you operate a mobile crane and help keep the site safe and efficient. You work weekdays and have the prospect of a permanent contract.
Wat ga je doen?
As a crane operator in recycling, you work daily with a mobile crane and polyp grab. Your main tasks include:
- Operating the mobile crane with polyp grab
- Unloading trucks and ships with metal and scrap
- Moving scrap, metal, and stainless steel on the premises
- Loading, unloading, and sorting materials within metal recycling
- Overseeing safe and efficient operations on site
- Inspecting incoming materials
- Assisting with site activities and maintaining oversight of the yard
- Recording special observations and reporting back to your supervisor
- Keeping the site clean and safe
You work full-time from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On Fridays, you finish at 1:30 p.m. Occasionally, you may work shifts from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Wat vragen wij?
- At least 2 years of proven work experience as a crane operator
- Experience with a mobile crane and polyp grab
- Experience in metal recycling, scrap processing, or transshipment is a plus
- Living in or near Moerdijk
- Speaks Dutch
- Works accurately and safely
- Physically fit and enjoys working outdoors
- Reliable and takes responsibility for the work
Wat bieden wij?
- Salary between €2,800 and €3,500 gross per month based on 40 hours and experience
- 20% allowance on Saturdays and 30% for night shifts if you occasionally work these hours
- Shift allowance of €4.05 per hour
