The Operational Manager ensures the smooth functioning of organizational operations across SML’s business units (Greenwise Consulting & Sinergis HR Consulting & Services). This role focuses on optimizing internal processes, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with corporate policies and ISO-based governance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Operation

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure effective coordination across departments.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of company operational systems, SOPs, and workflows to support consulting project delivery and corporate initiatives.
  • Monitor key business indicators including cost efficiency, resource utilization, and productivity across all departments.
  • Oversee contract management, procurement, and project administration processes to ensure compliance, transparency, and timely execution.
  • Coordinate operational budgets and support financial tracking to ensure profitability and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and senior leadership to streamline project operations and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal systems and ensure adherence to compliance, governance, and data protection policies.
  • Develop and enforce quality control mechanisms across project documentation, deliverables, and reporting.
  • Ensure all operational tools (Google Workspace, CRM, etc.) are effectively used and integrated for efficient workflow.

People management

  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure effective workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding of employees and consultants.
  • Cultivate a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning through engagement programs and internal communication initiatives.
  • Oversee implementation of competency mapping, performance appraisal, and learning programs such as the Competency Development Program (CDP).
  • Support leadership in building a positive work environment that aligns with SML’s core values and behavioral standards.

Commercial Support

  • Support project teams in cost analysis, project pricing, and budget monitoring to improve profitability and scalability.
  • Ensure operational readiness for new product or service launches, including resource planning and system alignment.
  • Provide insights and data analysis to management for decision-making on business development, partnerships, and process innovation.
  • Contribute to institutional branding by maintaining operational excellence that reflects SML’s professionalism and credibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within consulting or professional services.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of financial management, HR systems, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ISO certification and governance systems preferred.
