SERVICE CREW

A service crew member is a front-line team member in the food, retail, or hospitality sector who greets customers, takes orders, processes payments, and maintains a clean environment

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, answer menu questions, make recommendations, and handle customer inquiries or complaints politely.
• Order Processing: Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into a point-of-sale (POS) or cash register system.
• Cashiering: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and issue itemized bills or receipts.
• Food Preparation: Assist in basic food or beverage preparation, assemble orders, and serve items to tables or counters.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance: Sanitize dining areas, clear tables, wash utensils, restock supplies, and keep workstations clean according to food safety rules.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. • Experience: Previous customer service or fast-food experience is an advantage, but entry-level roles often provide on-the-job training.
