GovTech is the lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives and public sector digital transformation. As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT & SS), GovTech develops the Singapore Government’s capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Application Development, Smart City Technology, Digital Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.

Internship applications are now open for students available to begin their internship between January and April 2027 . Explore tech and corporate roles, including HR, communications, finance, legal and more. The application window closes on 30 September 2026, 12pm .

You must honour your stated internship availability as much as possible.

GovTech reserves the right to rescind offers if availability changes at short notice or if you cannot commit to the stated period.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident

Be a polytechnic student , undergraduate , or a recent A-Level or diploma graduate awaiting university admission

Be able to commit to an internship of at least 12 weeks (full-time commitment will be preferred)

Be available to start their internship between January and April 2027

Remain matriculated for the internship period (for graduating students, you should remain matriculated for most of your internship period)
