Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation and site activities.
- Lead and monitor electricians and site workers to ensure work is completed according to schedule.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, materials and daily work assignments.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, layouts and site instructions.
- Supervise installation of electrical wiring, conduits, cable trays, trunking, distribution boards, lighting and related electrical works.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and installation quality.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, main contractors, subcontractors and other site personnel.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on work progress when required.
- Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure workers comply with workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
- Identify site issues and coordinate necessary corrective works.
- Monitor material usage and inform management of material and manpower requirements.
- Maintain daily site records, manpower records and work progress reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the worksite.
- Carry out other site supervisory duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Relevant hands-on experience in electrical, construction or M&E site works.
- Previous experience as a General Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar supervisory position is preferred.
- Good practical knowledge of electrical installation and site operations.
- Able to supervise workers and coordinate multiple site activities.
- Able to understand drawings and site instructions.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Willing to work at different project sites when required.
- Formal academic qualification is not mandatory; relevant practical experience and competency will be considered.
