Job Summary

Join ENTIIS as a software engineer to design, implement, and support mission-critical solutions that drive digital transformation. Collaborate with clients and vendors to build innovative applications, optimize systems, and solve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate solutions with platform architecture and capacity planning for mission-critical environments
• Develop, integrate, and manage APIs to support business processes
• Advocate for customers by building strong relationships and communicating effectively to understand their needs
• Create demos and proof-of-concept applications to showcase solutions
• Model data, develop queries, and optimize performance for efficient data handling
• Research best practices and components to enhance consultancy services
• Continuously develop skills by building applications and testing new product features
• Analyze customer business pain points and technical challenges to propose effective solutions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a software engineer, system administrator, DevOps engineer, technical consultant, or architect
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• Strong programming fundamentals with excellent design and coding practices
• Excellent problem analysis, cross-team communication, and coordination skills
• Proficient in business abstraction and architecture design, familiar with design patterns and industry technology trends
• Passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Go
• Hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems, Elasticsearch, Big Data, stream processing, or enterprise data integration solutions
• Experience operating Linux systems (Red Hat and Debian-based distributions) including configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Experience with on-premises systems and/or public/private cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack
• Good understanding of databases, application security, and information retrieval/analytics
• Knowledge of microservices and container platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud technologies is advantageous
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and solutions
• Comfortable working remotely and/or at client premises
• Self-motivated, independent, and eager to learn
