Senior Electrical Shop Drawing Engineer (Revit Specialist)

About the Role: EGEC is expanding its engineering team in our Cairo Branch (Haram, Giza) and is actively looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Shop Drawing Engineer with proven expertise in electrical detailing, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary MEP coordination for high-profile regional and KSA projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver fully coordinated electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, and containment routing.

Produce builder’s work drawings and resolve clashes across architectural, structural, and mechanical systems.

Ensure all shop drawings comply with project specifications, design intents, and local/Gulf building codes (SBC, IEC, NEC).

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (BOQ support) and material submittals review where needed.

Coordinate effectively with site teams, project managers, and lead consultants to meet milestone deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 8 to 10 y ears of professional experience in electrical shop drawings and MEP coordination (engineering consultancy or leading main contractor background).

Software Proficiency: Advanced mastery of AutoCAD , Revit MEP , and Navisworks (clash detection & coordination).

Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on knowledge in power distribution, indoor/outdoor lighting, earthing & lightning protection, and Low-Current / ELV routing.

Regional Exposure: Prior experience working on KSA projects is highly preferred.

Availability: Candidates with immediate availability or short notice periods will be given priority.
