Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP Design
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong Gulf/GCC consultancy background and excellent MEP design and coordination capabilities.
6+ years of experience, preferably in Qatar / UAE / Saudi Arabia / GCC
Strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage & Fire Fighting systems
HVAC load calculations, equipment selection and system design
Experience with chilled water, DX/VRF and ventilation systems
Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC/UPC and GCC authority requirements
Experience in concept, detailed design, specifications and BOQ
Strong AutoCAD skills and proficiency of Revit MEP / BIM
Ability to perform technical calculations and equipment sizing
Multidisciplinary coordination with Architecture, Structure and Electrical
Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals and technical proposals
Familiarity with sustainability and energy-efficiency requirements
Strong English communication and client/contractor coordination skills
Gulf/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
We are looking for a strong design engineer, capable of independently developing mechanical systems from concept through detailed design and tender documentation.
Experience & Qualifications 6+ years of MEP engineering experience, preferably with project exposure in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, or the wider GCC.
Proven track record within a consultancy environment managing full-cycle mechanical design.
Technical Expertise Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
Direct experience designing chilled water, DX/VRF, and complex ventilation systems.
Deep understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC/UPC standards, and GCC local authority regulations.
Familiarity with modern sustainability practices and energy-efficiency requirements.
Design & Software Skills Ability to independently execute concept design, detailed design, specifications, and BOQ preparation.
Expertise in performing technical calculations, HVAC load calculations, and precise equipment sizing and selection.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM.
