Planning Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to develop and maintain project schedules, monitor project progress, identify delays, and coordinate with various departments to ensure projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate should have strong planning, scheduling, and project control experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual progress against planned schedules.
• Conduct delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) documentation.
• Coordinate with Site, Procurement, Design, Estimation, and Cost Control teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Track manpower, material, and productivity.
• Identify project risks and provide early warning reports.
• Support project planning through forecasting and resource planning.
• Maintain project data, dashboards, and planning reports.
• Assist in claims and variation documentation when required.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in construction projects.
• Certifications like PMP, PMI-SP, PSP (AACE), MRICS are an added advantage
