Senior Technical Office Engineer
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Technical Office works, preferably within construction and contracting companies.
Strong experience in Quantity Surveying (QS) and preparation of accurate quantity take-offs based on drawings and project specifications.
Strong experience in preparing, reviewing, and following up invoices for:
Subcontractors
Main contractor / client
Ability to prepare and review BOQs, quantity breakdowns, and supporting documents for invoices.
Experience in reviewing contract drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
Ability to prepare and follow up Variation Orders (VOs), additional works, and related supporting documents.
Good knowledge of cost estimation and rate analysis is preferred.
Proficiency in engineering software, particularly:
AutoCAD
Microsoft Excel – advanced level
Revit – preferred
ASD (AutoCAD Structural Detailing) – preferred
Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project – advantage
Strong coordination skills with site, procurement, planning, and project management teams.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
