DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully operational.
• Monitor opening and closing procedures.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, coach, and motivate store employees.
• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback.

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure proper merchandising and product display standards.
• Minimize stock losses through effective stock control practices.

Customer Service

• Ensure customers receive prompt and professional assistance.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues where necessary.
• Promote a positive shopping experience at all times.

Cash & Compliance

• Supervise cash handling and daily cash reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and operating procedures.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare daily operational and sales reports.
• Coordinate with management on store performance and operational issues.
• Perform any other supervisory duties assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a supermarket or retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing daily supermarket operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
