As a Calculation Engineer, you play an essential role in translating customer requests into smart, technically sound proposals. You are the link between customer, technology and commerce. You draw up a cost calculation that you develop textually into a suitable offer for the customer. In this position you have frequent contact with colleagues, customers, suppliers and consultants and you visit the project site to achieve a good result.

Your duties & responsibilities as a Calculation Engineer

From day one, you are actively involved in the entire process.

• Converting customer requests into a concrete and technical proposal
• Perform independent pre-engineering based on requirements, specifications or customer documentation
• Use standards and guidelines to arrive at a competitive costing and develop it into a clear quotation
• Build and maintain valuable contact with customers, suppliers and consultants
• Visiting project sites to achieve complete and accurate calculations
• Ensuring careful follow-up of offers
• Transfer projects to the project team in a smooth and clear manner
