Come work at Apple Tree Dental where community and family are the focus and exceptional clinical care is the outcome in our new community collaborative clinic setting! This is a unique opportunity to help expand our Becker County Outreach Program located in Detroit Lakes, MN.

This collaborative practice hygiene position will include utilizing teledentistry and triage to work in partnership with our Hawley, MN clinical team and specialty consults with our team in the Twin Cities as need.

Options are available to work part-time or full-time as a hybrid with our Hawley clinic. Experienced hygienist preferred, but all welcome to apply. Experience what is it like to truly love what you do while providing essential care to your community!

Key Responsibilities: Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planing

Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting

Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices

Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified

Take and develop dental X-rays & use AI for diagnosis and treatment planning

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Train on advanced scope of dental hygiene practice and utilize ALL your skills in a well-paced work environment

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing or ability to apply in MN via licensure through credentials

Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Local anesthesia/N2O certification preferred

Valid state driver’s license

Effective oral and written communication skills in English
