Facade Structural Engineer

AESG are currently recruiting a facade structural engineer to join our cost management team to work on a project in Dubai. As a facade structural engineer, you will support the project leader in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our client, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

Your tasks

Hold responsibility for the construction supervision projects. Manage both the technical and commercial aspects of projects. Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members.

• Independently manage complex projects and resolve complex project issues at detail design and construction stage and remedial of existing projects.
• Conduct façade diagnosis inspections and reporting.
• Conduct factory and site inspections and reporting, including testing and visual performance mock-ups.
• Generate multiple instances of repeat work with clients.
• Provide guidance and leadership to more junior team members and provide line management.
• Update existing construction checklist templates.
• Keep up to date with the facade market, standards, and code of practice.
• Develop research publications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or equivalent. Required minimum experience 3-5 years. Preferred façade design and engineering experience.
