Position Summary:

The Disability Client Coordinator serves as the bridge between Intake and the legal team for Social Security Disability (SSD) and Veterans Disability (VA) cases. This position is responsible for receiving warm transfers from Intake Agents, verifying client information, coordinating attorney assignments, scheduling initial attorney consultations, and ensuring a seamless transition from intake to legal representation.

The Disability Client Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional client experience while maximizing conversion opportunities and maintaining efficient attorney scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive warm transfers from Intake Agents for new SSD and VA clients.

Review and verify all intake information for accuracy and completeness.

Confirm client contact information and preferred communication methods.

Educate prospective clients on the next steps in the representation process.

Assign clients to the appropriate SSD or VA attorney based on established firm guidelines.

Schedule initial attorney consultations and coordinate calendar availability.

Ensure all required documentation, notes, and client information are properly entered into the case management system.

Maintain communication with clients regarding scheduled appointments and next steps.

Conduct follow-up outreach when necessary to secure scheduled consultations.

Work closely with Intake Agents, attorneys, and support staff to facilitate a smooth client handoff.

Monitor appointment attendance and assist with rescheduling when needed.

Identify and escalate any client concerns or scheduling conflicts.

Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and customer service during all client interactions.

Assist with reporting and tracking consultation scheduling metrics and conversion opportunities.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Experience scheduling appointments and managing calendars preferred.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information.

Proficiency with case management systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office applications.

Prior legal intake, disability law, customer service, or call center experience preferred.
