Embedded Device Software Engineer

We are building a new technology company focused on industrial IoT products, bringing together a dedicated engineering team to develop solutions combining electronics, embedded software, connectivity, data processing, and cloud-based device management. We are looking for an Embedded Device Software Engineer to develop the software running directly on our industrial IoT devices. You will work on software responsible for collecting and processing device data, communicating with external equipment and systems, performing calculations, and providing interfaces to other parts of the product. The product is in an active development stage, giving you the opportunity to influence software architecture and technical direction while building a reliable and maintainable foundation for future growth.

What you’ll do

Develop and maintain device-level software for industrial IoT products Implement data collection, processing, storage, and transmission Develop communication and integration functionality for connected equipment Develop algorithms and data-processing functionality Build interfaces between device software, web applications, and external systems Implement communication with APIs and cloud services Design software components with clear interfaces and future evolution in mind Analyze system performance and optimize software where needed Collaborate with embedded Linux, hardware, and web application engineers Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the device software

What we’re looking for

Programming skills in Python and C/C++ Experience developing software for Linux or embedded systems Good understanding of software architecture and component interfaces Experience with APIs and network communication Ability to develop reliable software in resource-constrained environments Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Comfortable working in an early-stage product development environment

4000-5700 €/mon. gross
