Key Responsibilities

  1. CCTV Monitoring

Monitor assigned CCTV cameras in real time throughout the designated working hours.

Ensure continuous monitoring of critical areas according to the approved CCTV monitoring plan.

Observe and identify any unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activities and immediately escalate them to the concerned responsible parties.

Ensure that cameras are properly displayed and that the required areas are visible and clear.

  1. CCTV Playback & Investigation Support

Conduct playback and review of recorded CCTV footage upon receiving an authorized request.

Search and identify relevant footage based on the requested date, time, location, or incident.

Provide the required footage/relevant information to authorized stakeholders in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of all CCTV recordings and information and ensure that footage is not shared with unauthorized persons.

  1. Camera & System Monitoring

Monitor the clarity and viewing angles of assigned cameras.

Identify cameras with unclear images, missing views, disconnected streams, or other abnormalities.

Immediately report technical issues through the approved ICT ticketing system.

Provide complete information when raising a ticket, including the affected camera(s), type of issue, screenshot where applicable, and issue start time.

Follow up on reported issues with the ICT team when required.

  1. Documentation & Control

Maintain proper records of CCTV monitoring activities, incidents, playback requests, and reported technical issues.

Ensure that all CCTV-related requests and actions are properly documented.

Follow the approved CCTV operation, access, confidentiality, and escalation procedures.

Ensure that CCTV usernames, passwords, recordings, and related information are handled securely.

  1. Coordination

Coordinate with Administration, HR, Security, and ICT teams regarding CCTV-related requirements.

Immediately escalate critical incidents to the relevant management representatives.

Support authorized investigations by providing the required CCTV information or playback.

Education Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma is preferred.

Relevant security, administration, or CCTV monitoring certification is an advantage.

Experience 1–3 years of experience in CCTV monitoring, security monitoring, control room operations, administration, or a similar role.

Previous experience with CCTV monitoring systems and playback functions is preferred.

Technical Skills Good knowledge of CCTV monitoring and playback systems.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to identify basic CCTV viewing/system abnormalities.

Ability to raise and follow up ICT tickets.

Working Conditions The position requires dedicated manpower to ensure continuous CCTV monitoring during the required working hours .

The employee will be stationed at the designated CCTV monitoring location.

Working hours/shift pattern shall be determined based on the required business coverage and approved CCTV monitoring schedule.

The role may require extended monitoring periods and immediate escalation of critical incidents.
