PACK Equipment Supervisor
Job Summary The PACK Equipment Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining equipment and automation systems in the Battery PACK production line to ensure stable operation, high equipment efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role leads the equipment team in supporting production targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), while driving preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and smart manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Operation & Maintenance Supervise daily equipment operation and maintenance activities in the Battery PACK production line.
Ensure maximum equipment uptime and minimize production downtime through effective maintenance management.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
Monitor equipment performance indicators such as OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and downtime, and drive improvement actions.
Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Battery PACK Equipment Management Manage and maintain production equipment including:
Cell Sorting and Grading Machines
Cell Stacking and Module Assembly Equipment
Laser Welding Machines
Busbar Welding Equipment
Automatic Screw Tightening Systems
Battery PACK Assembly Lines
End-of-Line (EOL) Testing Equipment
Leak Testing Equipment
Vision Inspection Systems (AOI)
AGV and Material Handling Automation Systems
Support equipment installation, commissioning, SAT, FAT, and production ramp-up activities for new projects and new production lines.
Participate in new product introduction (NPI), process transfer, and localization projects.
Automation & Continuous Improvement Lead equipment improvement projects to enhance reliability, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within Battery, Electronics, Automotive, or Automated Manufacturing industries. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in equipment management. Experience in Battery PACK manufacturing equipment is highly preferred. Good command of English; Chinese language skills are preferred.
