INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Primarily responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the organization's production schedules that are geared at ensuring the completion of the overall Sobida plant target production output. In the approval of the Job Offer (JO), assist the PPIC Head in (1) evaluating the propriety and the validity of additional job requests and (2) in the determination of the process lead time of the JO. Knows, understands, and masters the following production concerns: (1) the Bill of Materials (BOM) of each unit model, including the source, complete accessories, and probable alternative parts (2) the manpower required to process parts, (3) the general department process flow with relevant lead time, and (4) the production capacity of the department. Schedules and prioritizes production activities in consideration of the required parts of the Unit Setting, available inventory of processed parts at stocking, and the department production capacity and process lead time. Generate WO with accurate quantity and synchronized schedule based on the OZ Production Schedule mentioned in no.6.Distribute the same to all interfaced OZ Head or coordinator of 3rd Party Service Provider at least 1 week before the planned production start-up date. Monitors the implementation of WO and ensures compliance with the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of output delivery. Collects and/ or ensures the OZ Daily Output information is received. Maintains and updates the WO Monitoring, which records and summarizes the results of OZ operations. Ensures accessibility of records to management and to other concerned users for informed decision-making and planning. Updates JO status in the PE4 system at the modules of Job Order Monitoring. Coordinates and works with the MPC Team to ensure that (1) required materials are adequate and available when needed in production, (2) available BN and processed materials are allocated to unit setting reconsideration of FIFO, and (3) inventory of processed parts at stocking are synchronized and kept within the safe level that could assemble a complete model. Develops strategy and continues with OZ Heads on maintaining Kanban inventory of mandatory and critical pre-processed/ pre-assembled/ pre-bended parts included in Standard BOM to ensure production is not impacted due to unavailability of supply. Coordinates and cooperates with the concerned OZ Head to promptly resolve production issues as they arise in order to prevent further work disruption. Participate and collaborate with Unit Heads and OZ HEads in the determination of BOM, standard production workflow, and process lead time, including determination of manpower, equipment, and raw materials required, (1) new unit model and, (2) new additional job/ services required based on the job request from VHD.

Qualifications/Requirements: Preferably graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or related engineering courses. Able to plan, monitor, and control production schedules that are geared at ensuring completion of target production output. Able to encode large amounts of data (including numbers) into electronic systems with speed and accuracy. Able to express clearly and in a concise manner the concerns encountered in the workplace to come up with a discussion and deliberation of an appropriate recovery plan. Able to ensure "NO SMALL DETAILS" are overlooked during the performance of tasks, work, and projects. Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks (urgent and important), set goals, and set timelines. Able to work with team members with diverse skills and professional backgrounds to achieve common department objectives. Willing to be assigned in Novaliches, Quezon City.
