Virtual Administrative Assistant — Medical Records and Insurance Appeals Skilled Wound Care | Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Administrative Assistant to join our remote team. Your primary responsibility will be uploading medical records and insurance appeals to payer portals accurately and on time. This is an administrative position — no clinical background required. We will train you on our systems and portals.
Pay: $4-5/hr. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK USA DAYTIME HOURS.
What You Will Do
Upload medical records and insurance appeals to payer portals
Organize and maintain digital files following HIPAA guidelines
Track submission statuses and report updates to the team
Perform accurate data entry into internal tracking systems
Flag errors, rejected submissions, or missing documents to your supervisor
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 1 year of data entry and administrative filing experience
Comfortable navigating online portals and web-based platforms
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable internet connection and quiet home workspace
Basic understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality
Self-motivated and dependable in a remote work environment
Nice to Have
Experience with medical records or insurance documents
Familiarity with Availity, NaviNet, or similar payer portals
Google Workspace or Microsoft Office proficiency

Monday through Friday core business hours. USA CALIFORNIA DAYTIME HOURS.
