Junior Specialist Consultant Anesthesia

Job description

We are seeking a junior specialist / consultant anesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia services, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality perioperative care.

Key responsibilities

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and prepare appropriate anesthesia plans.

Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical procedures.

Monitor patients during procedures and manage intraoperative care.

Provide post-operative pain management and patient follow-up.

Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Handle emergency situations and provide appropriate anesthesia support.

Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical guidelines and safety protocols.

Participate in departmental activities and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

MBBS / equivalent medical qualification.

MD / DNB / MS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in anesthesia.

Relevant clinical experience in anesthesia.

Good knowledge of anesthesia techniques and perioperative management.

Strong communication and patient care skills.
