Job Description
- Handle daily administrative and office tasks.
- Prepare, organize and maintain company and project documents.
- Assist with quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other project documents.
- Assist in ordering construction materials, tools and site supplies according to project requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and workers regarding material orders, delivery schedules and site requirements.
- Follow up on material quotations, orders, deliveries and outstanding items.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time.
- Assist the project team with document preparation and submission.
- Handle emails, phone calls and correspondence with clients, suppliers and workers.
- Maintain staff and worker records, attendance and leave records.
- Assist with work pass, MOM, BCA and other administrative matters when required.
- Coordinate with workers, suppliers, subcontractors and project teams.
- Perform general administrative and ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant administrative experience.
- Experience in a construction company or construction-related industry is preferred.
- Experience in purchasing or ordering construction materials is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate with suppliers, workers and project teams in English.
- Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of construction materials and site requirements is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
