Senior Product Owner
We’re hiring a Senior Product Owner to own end-to-end product execution and delivery discipline. This is a tactical, execution-focused role for someone who can translate product strategy into developer-ready Jira work and maximize value delivered sprint after sprint. You will be the single source of truth for your team’s work, owning the backlog, leading a strong Agile cadence, and ensuring predictable delivery across web and mobile.

Reducing rework, reducing cycle time, and improving sprint predictability
Owning Jira as the source of truth, workflows, dashboards, releases, reporting
What You’ll Own 1) Backlog ownership and requirements clarity Own and prioritize the product backlog, keep the team focused on highest-value work
Translate high-level requirements into detailed, actionable user stories with testable acceptance criteria
Capture edge cases, failure states, and clear “what done means”
2) Agile execution and delivery discipline Lead grooming, sprint planning, daily follow-ups, sprint reviews, and retros
Drive dependencies and unblock engineers fast, across backend, web, iOS, Android, DevOps
Enforce Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
Protect sprint scope, manage change requests, enforce tradeoffs
3) Jira ownership Workflows, boards, components, priorities, versions/releases, dashboards
Weekly reporting and visibility into progress, blockers, and next sprint readiness
4) Release management and quality Coordinate releases across Web, iOS, Android, including versioning and release notes
Own release readiness checklist, staging readiness, smoke testing coordination
Coordinate UAT for major features, validate readiness, accept stories as done
5) Product documentation and decision log Maintain lightweight PRDs/feature briefs, a decision log, and onboarding docs
Ensure specs and Jira stay aligned, one reliable reference
6) Analytics instrumentation requirements Define tracking requirements for key flows and ensure they are included in acceptance criteria when relevant
Work with engineers to confirm instrumentation is implemented consistently
7) Customer feedback loop Own intake and triage for customer and seller feedback
Convert recurring issues into prioritized fixes, bugs, and improvements
Run a weekly “top issues” review and drive closure visibility

Sprint predictability improves (commit vs delivered)
Releases become smoother, fewer production issues
Jira becomes trusted, clean, and scalable
Product decisions and behavior are documented clearly
Feedback loop turns support pain into shipped fixes
Key flows have proper tracking so we can iterate with data
Must-have 5+ years in Product Owner, Delivery, Product Ops, Technical PM roles in software teams
Strong user story writing, acceptance criteria, edge case thinking
Hands-on Jira mastery, workflows, dashboards, releases/versions, not just user-level
Proven delivery ownership, you improved throughput, predictability, or quality in past roles
Technical fluency, comfortable discussing APIs, dependencies, tradeoffs with engineers
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and without an Engineering Manager
Nice-to-have Marketplace, e-commerce, payments, logistics, disputes/returns, KYC experience
Mobile release experience (App Store, Play Store)
Live streaming/video product experience
CSPO or similar certification is a plus
