EMEA Payroll Specialist 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Hybrid Working Are you an experienced payroll professional with strong exposure to EMEA payroll operations ? Do you have expertise managing payroll across multiple European countries and enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment? We are recruiting for an EMEA Payroll Specialist to join a global organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract , supporting the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll services across the EMEA region. The Role As an EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of assigned payrolls, working closely with outsourced payroll providers to ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time. You will act as a key contact for payroll-related queries, support month-end activities, and ensure compliance with local legislative requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end payroll process for assigned EMEA countries in partnership with outsourced payroll providers. Support payroll month-end and accounting procedures, including payroll reconciliations and reporting. Ensure statutory reporting obligations are met accurately and within deadlines. Support internal and external payroll audits. Investigate and resolve complex payroll queries from employees, HR, Finance, and business stakeholders. Maintain payroll records in line with GDPR, legal, and company requirements. Work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues. Keep up to date with legislative changes across EMEA regions and advise stakeholders on any impacts. About You We're looking for someone with: Proven experience managing multi-country EMEA payrolls . Strong knowledge of European payroll legislation and practices. Particular expertise supporting payrolls within Germany and Eastern European countries , especially Poland and the Czech Republic . Experience working with outsourced payroll providers. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Highly Desirable Experience using CloudPay , ideally supporting a payroll transition or implementation project. Knowledge of Workday HRIS. Experience supporting payroll accounting activities and General Ledger processes. CIPP qualification or equivalent payroll certification. What's on Offer?
