Egypt Operations Specialist

Your tasks

• Tailor-Made Quotations & Itinerary Design: Receive inquiries from international travel advisors, design bespoke, high-end itineraries and prepare competitive, detailed, and accurate quotations/costings.
• Pipeline Management & Closing: Actively manage and track open quotations, conducting timely, professional follow-ups to overcome client objections, refine proposals, and maximize booking conversion rates.
• Agent Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, responsive relationships with overseas travel agents and trade partners, serving as their trusted, go-to destination specialist for Egypt.
• Margin & Commercial Optimization: Balance competitive client pricing with healthy profit margins, leveraging local supplier relationships.
• Supplier Booking & Negotiation: Secure, negotiate, and confirm local services, including specialist Pomegranate content providers, Nile cruise operators, top tier restaurants etc.
• End-to-End Delivery: Oversee all on-the-ground logistical arrangements ensuring flawless client experience.
• Live Trip Monitoring & 24/7 Support: Track live itineraries and client movements, providing proactive on-the-ground support and rapid, resourceful crisis resolution for any unexpected disruptions or delays.
• Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control standards across vehicles, guides, accommodation allocations, and VIP protocol prior to and during travel.
• Documentation & Financial Administration: Prepare operational documents, driver/guide briefings; verify supplier invoices against agreed rates, reconcile trip files, and maintain meticulous booking records.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Inbound Tourism Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Egyptian inbound luxury tourism, DMC operations, or high-end travel sales/reservations.
• Experience building bespoke proposals, calculating margins, and successfully converting B2B agent inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Strong Local Supplier Network: Established relationships with Egyptian hoteliers, Nile cruise lines, luxury transport providers, official site authorities, and premier guides.
• Logistical Mastery & Crisis Management: In-depth knowledge of Egyptian travel logistics (domestic flight connections, driving distances, opening hours, Nile Cruises, VIP airport procedures) paired with a calm, proactive approach to troubleshooting.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic (additional languages are a plus), with polished, culturally attuned written communication suited for luxury international travel advisors.
• Commercial & Organizational Acumen: Highly organized, detail focused, commercially minded, comfortable multitasking under tight deadlines, and meticulous with numbers and operational details.
