Fitter Driver

Fitter / Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a experienced Fitter Driver to join our well-established client based in Wednesbury, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in fitting and installation who is looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting and fitting materials and installing fitted bedrooms in customers' homes. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and be confident working independently and professionally in customers' properties. Pay rate: £14.00.£14.50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) Shifts : Monday to Thursday: 7.00am - 4.30pm & Friday: 7.00am - 2.00pm Benefits Salary negotiable depending on experience and skill set Temporary to permanent opportunity Full-time, 40 hours per week Opportunity to join a well-established business on a permanent basis Key Responsibilities Measuring rooms accurately prior to installation Cutting materials to the required sizes Fitting and installing fitted bedrooms Carrying out installations in customers' homes Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Loading and transporting materials to customer sites Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers Working safely and keeping work areas clean and tidy Essential Skills The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience fitting fitted bedrooms, furniture, kitchens or similar Strong practical and carpentry/fitting skills Experience measuring and cutting materials accurately Excellent attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills A full UK driving licence A reliable and hardworking attitude Previous experience as a fitted bedroom installer/fitter is highly desirable. Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
