IT Commercial Director

Permanent – Remote – Circa £130,000 plus excellent benefits We are recruiting an experienced IT Commercial Director to join a leading FTSE organisation. Reporting directly to the CIO and working as part of the IT leadership team, you will lead commercial strategy, supplier relationships and contract performance across a complex IT supplier portfolio. This is a senior leadership role focused on maximising commercial value, strengthening supplier governance and driving continuous improvement.

What you will be doing: Lead the IT commercial, supplier management and sourcing strategy Manage senior relationships with strategic IT suppliers and outsourced service providers Lead complex commercial and contract negotiations Drive cost efficiencies while protecting service quality and long term value Oversee supplier performance, contract compliance and commercial governance Provide commercial expertise across IT projects and contractual changes Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and supplier risks Build collaborative partnerships that deliver measurable service improvements

What we’re looking for: Significant senior level experience in IT supplier or commercial management Experience operating within a complex, multi-vendor environment A strong background managing outsourced IT services and technology providers Proven experience developing commercial, governance and supplier performance frameworks A demonstrable track record of delivering sustainable cost savings Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder-management skills The confidence to influence c-level stakeholders and supplier leadership teams Strong financial, budgeting and forecasting expertise
