Role Description The Fuel Dispensation and Stock Control Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria. This role is responsible for overseeing daily fuel dispensing operations, ensuring accurate measurements, proper documentation, and adherence to safety procedures. The officer will monitor fuel levels, maintain stock records, reconcile physical stock with system records, and prepare regular inventory and usage reports. The role involves coordinating with operations and finance teams to support timely replenishment, minimize losses, and maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The officer will also assist in identifying discrepancies, investigating variances, and recommending process improvements for more efficient fuel and stock management.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Stock Management skills to monitor and reconcile fuel and inventory levels effectively. Candidates should possess Inventory Control and Analytical Skills to track usage trends, identify discrepancies, and support data-driven decision-making. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with operations, finance, and management teams and to prepare clear reports. Relevant experience in fuel management, logistics, warehousing, or operations within industrial, construction, agricultural, or manufacturing settings is beneficial. Attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and compliance standards are essential. Proficiency with basic computer applications and inventory or ERP systems is an advantage. A relevant diploma or degree in business, logistics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
