WAREHOUSE CLERK

The Warehouse Checker is responsible for verifying the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments. This role involves inspecting physical goods against invoices, picking slips, or purchase orders to ensure that quantities, item codes, and quality standards are met before items are shelved or dispatched. Key Responsibilities & Duties Inventory Verification: Physically count and inspect incoming and outgoing stock to ensure it matches the documentation (DR, Invoice, or Packing List). Quality Control: Inspect items for damages, leaks, or expiration dates; reject or flag "bad orders" (BO) according to company policy. Documentation: Accurately record discrepancies, shortages, or overages in the warehouse management system or logbooks. Loading/Unloading Oversight: Supervise the loading of delivery trucks to ensure the right products are placed in the correct sequence for efficient delivery. Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized checking area to prevent bottlenecks; adhere to all safety protocols regarding heavy lifting and machinery. Discrepancy Reporting: Communicate immediately with Warehouse Supervisors or the Inventory Department regarding any missing items or data errors.

Qualifications/Requirements: Female Attention to Detail: Must be able to identify small differences in SKU numbers, labels, and product descriptions. Basic Numeracy: Strong ability to perform quick and accurate counting and basic mathematical calculations. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk through large warehouse spaces, and lift/move heavy packages as needed. Integrity: High level of honesty and accountability, as this role is the primary defense against inventory shrinkage or loss. Education: College Graduate; previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or retail inventory is preferred.
