Turn your newly finished PhD into a commercial career selling biomarker science to the companies developing new drugs. Join a fast-moving international company where deep science is the product and sell it to the world's largest pharma and biotech companies.

Your Role

You will report directly to the Chief Business Officer and join our business development team. Our clients buy science, so you will spend your first 12 to 18 months going deep into ours, working closely with our senior salespeople along the way. After that, you grow into a Sales Manager role, owning a disease area and leading the sales process from first contact to signed deal.

First 12 to 18 months: science first

Build deep knowledge of extracellular matrix (ECM) biology and our biomarker portfolio, working directly with our scientific directors.

Work closely with senior salespeople on live projects, joining client calls and contributing to proposals.

Translate our science into clear, credible value for clients and partners.

Support the team with lead follow-up, market research, and client inquiries, and keep CRM data accurate.

After 12 to 18 months: grow into Sales Manager

Take ownership of your own disease area and sales pipeline.

Identify and pursue new opportunities while building long-term client relationships.

Run independent scientific and commercial presentations and negotiate deals.

Travel internationally (30+ days per year) to meet clients and represent Nordic Bioscience.

What You Bring

A PhD in life sciences or a related field, completed within the last couple of years or to be completed within the next 6 months (required).

An early-career profile: up to 3 years of professional experience after your PhD, including postdoc positions. This role is designed as a first step into a commercial career.

A real drive to sell. You do not need a sales background, but you must want this career badly.

Strong scientific curiosity and the ability to explain complex science simply.

Highly organized, proactive, and driven to take ownership.

Fluent English, spoken and written.

This is primarily an onsite role in Herlev, Denmark. You must be based in Denmark from day one, as we cannot support relocation.
