Key Responsibilities

Assist with dining room and event space setup prior to guest arrival

Pass, serve, and display a variety of food items, including appetizers and plated dinners

Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the banquet hall in a timely, organized manner

Serve and refill alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages

Set up and maintain Coffee & Tea Stations throughout the event

Support post‑event breakdown, including cleaning, inventory, food storage, and tear‑down tasks

Maintain a clean, polished, and professional presentation at all times

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management to ensure accurate knowledge of menu items and event details

Understand and uphold banquet service standards, including fine‑dining service styles, setup, and breakdown

Read and articulate BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) to ensure flawless execution

Consistently maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift

Fast‑paced environment requiring agility and efficient movement across event spaces

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a banquet or event server in a hotel, catering, or banquet setting

Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours)

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed

High energy and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
