Quantity Surveyor
Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating
- Checking and analysing of tenders
- Preparing economic feasibility studies from information provided by Architects, Engineers or Planners
- Preparing progressive claims
- Ensure that project files, drawings, specification and bidding contracts are maintained
- Update and record variation or omission order issued of each project, record certified claims
- Verify sub-contractor’s claims for approval
- Prepare and purchase insurance for project such as Performance Bond
- Any other adhoc works.
Minimum Qualifications/Experiences:
- Construction / Building related Diploma/Degree
- Preferably with some relevant working experience in construction or aluminium related industry.
- Fresh graduates are welcome
Knowledge/skills Required:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good knowledge in mathematical calculation
- Knowledge of building codes
- Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction
- Possess skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Possess skills in accurate measurement, preparation on tender, calculation, pricing and quotation
- Understand the relevant standard forms of Building
- Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
