Accountabilities: Month-End and Year-End Close: Manage and support monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring financial records are complete, accurate, and delivered within established deadlines.

General Ledger Management: Oversee daily general ledger activities across multiple ERP systems, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, resolve outstanding items, and ensure balances are properly supported.

Journal Entries and Financial Reporting: Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial statements and internal reports.

Financial Analysis: Analyze key financial metrics, identify trends and variances, and develop reports that provide management with actionable insights to support business decisions.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business performance monitoring and resource allocation.

Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal control requirements, and company policies while helping maintain consistent accounting practices across teams.

Audit Coordination: Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with resolving audit-related questions and findings.

Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives that enhance monthly close procedures, consolidation, internal reporting, and accounting workflows across multiple teams and systems.

Systems and Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve ERP utilization, streamline accounting processes, standardize procedures, and strengthen the reliability of financial information.

Business Partner Support: Provide ad hoc financial and accounting support to division and segment leadership, responding to business needs and contributing to informed decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with accounting colleagues and stakeholders across a remote environment to improve coordination, maintain accountability, and support shared financial objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 3 years of accounting experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.

CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting principles, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation practices.

Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, financial analysis, and internal controls.

Familiarity with enterprise accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle R12, NetSuite, JD Edwards (JDE), or Epicor is preferred.

Ability to work across multiple accounting systems and adapt to different processes, reporting structures, and operational requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret financial data, and recommend improvements.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines consistently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly and collaborate with colleagues and business stakeholders.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team, particularly in a remote working environment.

A proactive approach to process improvement, system efficiency, standardization, and continuous learning.

Annual base salary: $85,000–$105,000, plus eligibility for a bonus. Actual compensation depends on work location, relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other job-related factors.
