Accountabilities: The Clinical Supply Chain Specialist will support the planning, execution, and optimization of clinical trial supply activities. The role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, timely delivery, and effective management of clinical materials while minimizing supply risks and waste.

Support clinical supply planning activities by aligning demand requirements, study timelines, and supply strategies with clinical teams.

Collaborate with internal functions including Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Quality, CMC, and external partners such as contract manufacturing organizations and IRT vendors.

Assist in developing supply plans, inventory strategies, production schedules, and risk mitigation approaches for clinical programs.

Monitor production schedules, identify potential issues, and support corrective actions to maintain supply continuity.

Coordinate label management activities, ensuring label content and approvals comply with applicable regulations, product specifications, and study requirements.

Support comparator sourcing activities and related supply strategies for clinical trials.

Assist with IRT system activities, including user acceptance testing, supply strategy setup, parameter management, and ongoing supply monitoring.

Coordinate and track shipments between manufacturing partners, depots, and vendors while maintaining required import documentation and licenses.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance clinical supply operations and organizational efficiency.

Contribute to additional supply chain projects and operational activities as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a motivated supply chain professional with experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments and a strong interest in clinical operations. This role requires analytical thinking, strong organization skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in medicine, life sciences, supply chain management, operations, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2+ years of progressive supply chain experience, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or clinical research environments.

Understanding of clinical trial supply processes, inventory planning, labeling, packaging, and distribution activities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, adaptability, continuous learning mindset, and results-oriented approach.

Experience with IRT systems or clinical supply technologies is a plus.
