Accountabilities: The Associate – Trust & Safety will support daily platform safety operations by reviewing user interactions, enforcing policies, and helping maintain a respectful community environment. The role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.

Review and moderate audio, chat, and user interactions according to community guidelines and safety policies.

Identify, investigate, and take appropriate action on harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or policy-violating content and behaviors.

Escalate high-risk or sensitive cases to relevant internal teams for further review and resolution.

Review user reports, appeals, and flagged conversations to ensure fair and consistent moderation decisions.

Conduct quality audits of moderation activities and maintain accurate records of decisions.

Monitor moderation trends and provide insights to improve safety processes and user experience.

Collaborate with Product, Operations, Quality, and Trust & Safety teams to enhance moderation workflows.

Handle sensitive content with professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy.

Support improvements to policies, processes, and operational standards.

Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a responsible and detail-oriented professional with experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, or related operations. You should have strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to make objective decisions when reviewing sensitive content.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

1–2 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Community Moderation, Quality Audit, Customer Support, or similar roles.

Strong understanding of online safety principles, community guidelines, and moderation practices.

Fluency in Telugu and English, including reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to review sensitive or emotionally challenging content while maintaining professionalism and objectivity.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, CRM tools, moderation platforms, or ticketing systems.

Strong attention to detail and ability to apply policies consistently.

Experience with social, chat, voice, or community-based platforms is preferred.

Familiarity with moderation dashboards, quality assurance tools, abuse detection, fraud prevention, or policy enforcement processes is a plus.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
