Commissioning Engineer

Job Responsibilities Perform overall commissioning of R&D prototypes, including mechanical verification, electrical verification, software-hardware integration, functional verification and performance optimisation. Work closely with design engineers to conduct design verification, identify issues and provide recommendations for design improvement. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software and hardware integration issues during prototype commissioning. Develop prototype commissioning SOPs, test specifications, commissioning reports and issue-tracking documentation. Support new product trial production and transfer commissioning processes and technical knowledge to the Malaysia mass-production team. Assist in establishing commissioning standards and processes for mass production. Collaborate with test engineers on prototype performance testing and reliability verification.

Requirements Degree or above in Mechatronics, Automation, Optoelectronic Technology or a related engineering discipline. More than 3 years of assembly and commissioning experience within precision automation equipment. Experience with optical or semiconductor equipment commissioning will be advantageous. Familiar with mechanical assembly processes and electrical wiring specifications. Able to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematic diagrams. Capable of basic software and hardware troubleshooting. Strong hands-on problem-solving capabilities with good documentation habits. License No.22C1076 | EA Reg. No.: R25142215
