Finishing Manager / Finishing Engineer Job Summary Fawry Plus is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager / Finishing Engineer to manage and supervise architectural, interior finishing, fit-out, and refurbishment activities across Fawry Plus branches and facilities. The role will be responsible for ensuring that all finishing works are executed to the required quality standards, approved designs, specifications, budgets, and project timelines, while maintaining a consistent brand identity across locations. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all architectural, interior finishing, fit-out, renovation, and refurbishment works for Fawry Plus branches and facilities.

Review approved architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, layouts, and project requirements before and during execution.

Ensure all finishing works are executed in accordance with approved designs, Fawry Plus brand standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.

Develop and monitor work plans, project schedules, manpower requirements, and site execution strategies.

Coordinate with Civil, MEP, Design, Procurement, Planning, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Coordinate multiple branch fit-out and refurbishment activities simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and readiness for operation.

Manage and supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and agreed schedules.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, progress, materials, and compliance with approved designs.

Identify technical, architectural, and site-related issues and coordinate appropriate solutions to minimize delays and rework.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, samples, and technical documentation related to finishing and fit-out works.

Ensure proper coordination between architectural finishes, civil works, MEP services, signage, furniture, fixtures, and other branch requirements.

Ensure consistency in the execution and finishing quality of Fawry Plus branches in line with the company's approved standards and visual identity.

Monitor project progress and provide regular reports highlighting achievements, delays, risks, technical issues, and required corrective actions.

Ensure that all materials and finishes used on site are in accordance with approved samples, specifications, and quality standards.

Monitor contractors' performance, productivity, resource allocation, and adherence to project schedules.

Manage snagging, de-snagging, inspections, testing, and final handover of completed branches.

Coordinate with Operations and relevant stakeholders to ensure branches are handed over in a safe, functional, and operationally ready condition.

Ensure compliance with HSE policies and all applicable site safety requirements.

Monitor project costs, control material wastage, and minimize unnecessary rework and additional costs.

Maintain proper project documentation, inspection records, approvals, snag lists, and handover documents.

Participate in meetings with contractors, consultants, suppliers, management, and other stakeholders as required.

Provide technical guidance and support to the finishing/fit-out team and ensure effective team performance.

Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives, deadlines, quality standards, cost targets, and customer satisfaction.

Identify opportunities to improve finishing standards, construction processes, cost efficiency, and branch delivery timelines.

Key Performance Indicators Timely completion of branch fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Quality and consistency of finishing works across Fawry Plus locations.

Compliance with approved designs, specifications, and brand standards.

Effective contractor and subcontractor performance.

Reduction of defects, snags, rework, and material wastage.

Successful handover of branches within agreed timelines and budgets.

Compliance with HSE and quality requirements.

Effective coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant experience in finishing, fit-out, retail, commercial, or branch rollout projects.

Experience managing multiple sites or projects simultaneously is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, interior fit-out, MEP coordination, construction materials, and site execution.

Experience in managing contractors and subcontractors.

Good understanding of BOQs, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and project schedules.

Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant project management/reporting tools is preferred.

Preferred Experience Experience in retail branches, banking/financial services, commercial outlets, telecom branches, or other multi-location rollout and fit-out projects will be considered an advantage.
