Wholesale Planner, AI & Analytics

We are seeking an experienced, analytically-driven, and strategically-minded Wholesale Planner to lead demand planning and inventory optimization across our wholesale channels. This role will own seasonal sales forecasting, open-to-buy management, and account-level planning while partnering closely with Wholesale, Planning, and Finance teams to align strategies with company-wide financial goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and brings a proven track record of driving business results through effective inventory management and data-driven decision-making in the wholesale specialty retail space.
What you’ll do:
Develop seasonal and annual wholesale sales, margin, and inventory plans by channel and account
Build and maintain AI-assisted reporting workflows and forecasting tools to improve cadence efficiency and analytical output
Own in-season sales forecasts, open-to-buy (OTB), and inventory flow plans
Build and maintain account-level demand plans and buy quantities
Own pre-market buy plans and post market reconciliation
Collaborate with the Wholesale, Planning, and Finance teams to develop and execute long-term planning strategies that align with business goals and targets
Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Manage off-price inventory, along with partnering with Ops & Wholesale team on allocation and delivery of merchandise to off-price accounts
Identify risks and opportunities related to inventory imbalances
Support inventory optimization, stock transfers, and liquidation strategies
Align wholesale plans with overall company financial goals
What you’ll have:
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning & forecasting, inventory management, off-price sales or related roles
Minimum of 1 year experience working with a Wholesale Speciality retail brand
Required: Hands-on experience with AI tools and a track record of applying them to automate or improve reporting, forecasting, or analytical workflows
Proven track record of driving business results through effective planning and inventory management
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, forecasting models)
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Experience with planning systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative, initiative-taking, and solution-oriented mindset
We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 USD, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer.
