This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Patient Care Models Group (PCMG), Division of Specialty Payment Models (DSPM). As an IT Specialist (Sys/Analysis), GS-2210-13, you will build products delivering unparallled value to stakeholders and customers and those who care for them by leveraging emerging technoloyg, methodologies, and trends.

Major duties

  • Lead cross-functional product teams through the full product lifecycle to design, develop, deliver, and improve IT products and services that meet mission and user needs.
  • Analyze customer and stakeholder needs to define business and technical requirements, translate requirements into user stories, and recommend effective IT solutions and process improvements.
  • Manage product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, releases, risks, resources, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of digital products.
  • Engage customers and stakeholders through research, usability testing, feedback, demonstrations, briefings, and other activities to inform product direction and improve user experience.
  • Advise leadership on complex IT, product, and systems issues by evaluating performance data, identifying weaknesses, recommending solutions, and integrating security, compliance, and accessibility throughout delivery.

In order to qualify for the GS-13, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Overseeing the operation or maintenance of healthcare systems; AND Coordinating data from multiple systems in a centralized analytics platform; AND Working with stakeholders to resolve data quality or system related issues.
