Responsibilities

Part of an international Agile squad with teams in Chennai & Belgium

Responsible for development, testing & maintenance of payment applications

Work closely with BNP Paribas Fortis Tribe Payments team

Participate in analysis, design, testing & support activities

Focus on test automation and high-quality software delivery

Design test cases and prepare test datasets

Build and maintain automation frameworks

Develop automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks

Execute automated test suites and prepare reports

Contribute to continuous improvement & automation initiatives

Analyze requirements for automation feasibility

Technical Skills

Java 8 & 17, OOP concepts

REST API, XML & JSON testing

JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, Karate

Maven, Docker, GitLab, Jenkins

Swagger, JMeter, SQL, Oracle

SonarQube, Fortify, NexusIQ

IntelliJ, Insomnia, Bruno, Rally, Octane

Additional Skills

Strong understanding of STLC & testing methodologies

Experience in Agile & Scrum environment

Banking & Payments domain knowledge

Strong communication and fluent English

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent

8+ years of experience in QA Automation & Java
