Supply Chain Manager – US

Role Overview
We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager – US to lead and build the supply chain function for a growing portfolio of US mining projects, including Keystone (California), Apex (Utah), and Springer (Nevada), with potential for future additional projects.
Reporting to the Director Supply Chain, this is a hands‑on leadership role in a project development and construction environment. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in execution during the early phases, while also building a scalable US supply chain organization, systems, and processes in close cooperation with the Director Supply Chain.
The Supply Chain Manager will have one report, a Supply Chain Specialist; there is potential to further develop the team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end supply chain execution for multiple US projects from development through construction
Personally drive critical procurement, logistics, and materials activities in the start‑up phase
Oversee procurement strategies, supplier selection, negotiations, contract execution, and risk management
Manage logistics, expediting, inspection, and delivery of equipment and materials to multi‑state project sites
Establish materials management and warehousing concepts for the projects
Build, lead, and develop the US supply chain team (contracts, purchasing, logistics, materials management)
Support SAP implementation and establish standard processes, KPIs, and reporting
Act as the primary supply chain interface toward projects, EPC / PMC contractors, and internal stakeholders
Further develop, execute and be our main resource within purchasing
Support our contract management, expediting, warehouse/logistics and SAP responsibilities/processes.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or similar
Minimum 10 years’ experience in supply chain roles within mining, heavy industry, energy, or capital projects
Strong exposure to project development and construction
Proven hands‑on experience in procurement, contracts, logistics, and materials management
Experience working with contractors, including EPC / PMC contractors
Knowledge of the US supplier market and regulatory environment
ERP experience required; SAP strongly preferred.
