Operations Executive (Commodities)

Our client is a global commodities trading company and they are looking for an Operations Executive to support the end-to-end execution of physical commodity trades across international markets. Key Responsibilities Manage contract execution and shipment planning Coordinate with suppliers, shippers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery Handle shipping documentation, invoicing and payment follow-ups Manage claims, settlements and related operational matters Monitor shipments closely and proactively resolve issues

Requirements 5–6 years of relevant commodity execution / operations experience Experience in sugar, agri commodities or other physical commodities preferred Good understanding of international shipping and trade documentation Familiarity with LCs, LOIs, charter parties and demurrage/laytime will be advantageous Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
