Senior Engineering Train Operator

Job Responsibilities Lead and supervise train operators and shunters. Coordinate the safe operation and movement of rail vehicles. Conduct pre-operation checks and confirm operational readiness. Ensure personnel follow approved operating and safety procedures. Conduct operational and safety briefings. Coordinate with controllers, station supervisors and site teams. Respond to operational incidents and support recovery activities. Monitor operator competency, performance and compliance. Assist with the training and OJT of new personnel. Prepare operational records and reports. Job Requirements Diploma in an engineering discipline, GCE A-Level or equivalent qualification. Minimum five years of relevant working experience. Railway operations, train-driving, shunting or heavy-equipment experience is preferred. Able to lead a team and conduct operational briefings. Strong safety awareness and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation. Able to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays. Must complete the required training, assessment and OJT.
