Full Time Student Care Teacher (Location: Serangoon North)
About the company
We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Student Care Teachers to join our student care centre in Clementi.
At our centre, we provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where primary school students can learn, grow and develop confidence.
Your tasks
As a Student Care Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting children's academic progress, personal development and daily well-being.
- Supervise primary school students aged 7–12 and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Guide students in completing their daily homework and developing good study habits.
- Plan and conduct engaging educational, recreational and enrichment activities.
- Maintain positive classroom discipline and encourage good behaviour.
- Support students' academic, social and emotional development.
- Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate daily records.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and school staff.
- Encourage teamwork, independence and good character development.
- Assist with daily centre operations and school holiday programmes.
- Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Whether you have experience or are just starting your journey in student care, we welcome you to join our team!
- Minimum NITEC, GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in student care, teaching or working with primary school children is an advantage.
- No prior experience required – training will be provided.
- Patient, caring, responsible and passionate about working with children.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage a group of primary school students effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to start immediately or within short notice.
- Minimum commitment of 1 year.
